The Calvary Drama team need 5 actors plus a lighting person to finalise all the parts for their upcoming drama show. Please see Pastor Keith or Helen for further details. Those who signed up for the CCSH Choir, please also see Pastor Keith and Helen after this morning’s service. We have a Sunday school graduation this morning! Please make a point to join with us before the service in the classroom for a time of prayer. Looking to see more men involved in this much needed ministry. Pastor Israel is in the Book of Joshua again tonight. Be praying about inviting family and friends to join you for our Easter Services coming soon.
A Word from Pastor Keith –
Fascinating insight for those of us who know we are living in the Last Days and waiting for the rapture of the church to occur. How you say? The Corona Virus impact creating panic buying and disgraceful behaviour in many shopping stores around the globe – for toilet paper and hand sanitizer! The Book of revelation gives us graphic details of the truly cataclysmic events that are going to be unleashed during what the Bible calls the Great Tribulation. Note the impact one viral outbreak has caused particularly in regard to the economic fall out on stocks and shares. If you take a step back and now exaggerate what is happening simply with the Corona virus, you get a glimpse of the events that will unfold during the Great Tribulation which will be many many times worse. However, I write this not to create anxiety amongst you but to again remind you that we as believers should be increasingly thankful for the peace that God has given us with the understanding of how He is in control at all times. That we as Christians have nothing to fear but instead should as Peter reminds us be looking for our Lord’s soon return each day and living in a way that is pleasing unto Him. The last prayer recorded in the Bible is spoken by the Apostle John – “Come quickly Lord Jesus!”
CCSH gives you the opportunity for your grace offering to be dropped in the container at the left side of the sanctuary – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically. Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. Mal 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
