Prayer support this morning

This morning we encourage you to meet with the elders and pastors for prayer after the service. They will be available and ready to pray with you on those things that you may need encouragement with or prayer support for.

Pastor’s Desk

I am noticing in these Last Days two things of significance in churches throughout Australia. There are sadly many folk who once walked with the Lord now returning back to their old ways, skipping church and living lives that reveal coldness to Jesus Christ. But at the same time I am noticing more and more opportunities being made available by God for us to share the gospel with people who are searching to know God. The Holy Spirit is moving powerfully I believe due to the shortness of time before judgment begins and also in answer to the passionate prayers of saints like those who gather every Wednesday evening here in Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour. I want to remind you again of the season in which we are living – it is the Last Days as the Bible predicted and judgment is soon to come. I pray that you will heed the words Jesus spoke to the church of Ephesus in Revelation 2:4-5. Return to the passionate first love you had for your Savior Jesus, remember what you were without Him, seek His forgiveness if you have been neglectful of His relationship with you. It’s time to walk right with God!

Helen’s Heart

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing – 1 Thess 5:16 Prayer is an essential part of a Christian’s life. Omitting vegetables from our diet will make us physically weak. So too a lack of prayer life renders us spiritually anaemic. Establishing a regular time to be alone with God praying and seeking guidance through His Word sets us up to be open to God’s voice throughout the day. We can pray anywhere, any time, knowing God will hear us. This week let your prayer life be without ceasing..!

Tuesday Morning Bible Study @ 9:30am – “Lessons from Salome and Rhoda”.

Gen 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Distraction We again ask please for your respect of God’s Word and the consideration of those seated around you to please remain seated during the teaching of God’s Word. Parents we ask for your assistance in this matter and if you must move, please return to a seat at the back of the sanctuary so as not to distract those being attentive to hearing the Spirit of God minister to them.
