A Word from Pastor Keith – There has been a dramatic escalation of terrorist attacks in Israel since President Donald Trump tabled his peace plan for the Middle East situation. Each time we have the privilege to visit Israel, I have always wondered if that will be the last time we can be there! There is a growing divide throughout the world between the nation Israel and its opponents. So too I have noticed within Christianity, there seems to be a noticeable separation between those who have dedicated their lives to following Christ and serving Him and those to whom Christianity has become more of a lukewarm association. The Apostle Paul taught that there would be a falling away from the faith prior to Christ’s return. The question is for you this morning, are you growing closer to God, serving Him more each day? Or are you sliding away in your walk with Him to one more of convenience than that of wholehearted worship? The prophet Micah warned us, But when you present the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and sick, is it not evil? Why not offer it to the governor? Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you kindly? Says the Lord. Micah 1:8

From the beginning of time, He has been clear that some offerings are acceptable to Him and others are not. Just ask Cain, upon whose offering God did not look with favour” – Gen 4:5 – Francis Chan
