What’s Happening – This Wednesday be out for our first men and women’s end of month, evening bible study. We want to encourage you during all teaching sessions to takes notes either in your Bibles along with the text or in an exercise book. It’s a tremendous way to increase your learning and memory capacity of God’s precious Word as well as writing down what God has personally spoken to you about. It’s an excellent habit to begin and a tremendous way also of encouraging your children and teens as they imitate you and grow in their knowledge and intimacy with God. You can discuss your notes at home! CCSH drama and choir servants will kick off as soon as we move into the next phase of easing Cov 19 restrictions. We want to encourage all those involved in these ministries to be ready to go asap once the govt. makes the next move. We are looking forward to seeing the choir in our services and the drama team finally put on their first piece of theatre for us all! We want to acknowledge also those servants who helped carry us through the Covid 19 lock down period by being part of the media support team that enabled our live streaming service broadcasts to begin – bless each and every one of you.
From the Pastor’s Desk –
This Wednesday Helen and I are looking forward to our special men and women’s night of study. I will be sharing some heart to heart issues with the men in the hope of encouraging them to step out in their faith as they serve the body of Christ here at CCSH. This year 2020, is a year that God is leading us through to maturity in every area of our walk with Him. How we pray, study God’s Word, increase our generosity, and growing in our serving the rest of the body of Christ here at CCSH. Now is not a time to be lazy or to be selfish in our living. As we see the Holy Spirit leading us in this direction each time we meet, it encourages us to draw even closer to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and to learn from Him how to be meek, lowly in heart and to enjoy God’s amazing rest for our souls. May we ask you to make it a point of prayer for you and your families to embed your imprint here at CCSH particularly in encouraging, serving and loving one another. The world in which we live is changing at a rapid pace and there is a true refining and judgment beginning in the house of God just as the Apostle Peter said would occur. As the world grows darker, we are to shine brighter because of our communion and love for God. As the world spirals more and more into immorality, our lives are to be saltier and a purifying impact wherever we are to be found. The time is short, and Jesus is coming. Let us be ready and be about His business until He calls us home.
We have an offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Proverbs 3: Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work
