This will provide you with plenty of the meat of the Word to grow and mature here at CCSH. We are attempting to fulfil the call of God on us as a church by be a praying church and we encourage you to join the many opportunities to pray with the saints here at CCSH, including our 24/7 prayer team via SMS, our preservice prayer and Wednesday night prayer meetings. From the Pastor’s Desk –
2Ti 2:2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. (Faithful – of persons who show themselves faithful in the transaction of business, the execution of commands, or the discharge of official duties) It has been said that faithfulness is 85% simply showing up. Have you ever made plans with someone, set a meeting up, changed your whole routine to fit in with meeting someone, and they not show up? Paul commanded Timothy to place the teaching of God’s Word only in the hands of faithful men. Faithfulness is in short supply even in the world today. People are increasingly showing a lack of faithfulness in many other areas of their lives. In our modern society. Faithfulness is a great quality and it is part of God’s character. Deu 7:9 “Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; As followers of Christ, servants of the most High, we too are to be faithful in all things. Our word, our character is to reflect the God we serve. Let us be faithful in all that we do. Let us be different to the way of the world that breaches contracts, breaks promises and just doesn’t show up when they should. May we at CCSH, be a people, a church that people can count on to be faithful. Jesus words that we long to hear at the end of our lives here on earth should be – Mat 25:21 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Let us be people who can be counted to show up!
We have an offering container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Proverbs 3: Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work
