God’s Perfection in Imperfection – Part 1: King

You are invited to join with Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour this Sunday evening from 6.00 p.m. as we begin our series called “God’s Perfection in Imperfection” from the Old Testament book of Esther.

Esther was the queen of Persia who saved the Jews from
extermination with her wholehearted commitment to God.
Risking her life to save her people by coming uninvited before the
king, her famous declaration was, “If I perish, I perish.”

She didn’t start that way.

When we first meet her, she is anything but committed. In fact, her heart isn’t into walking with God at all.

She’s not alone in this. The book contains many examples of imperfect people; and yet, the book highlights the Sovereignty of God to work the miraculous and transform what seems hopeless, for his glory and His peoples’ good!

Come along on Sunday evening the 14th of October from 6 p.m. for worship and study in God’s word as we dig into this book and find out more!
