Love, Live, Fight – Part 7: Unity

You are invited to join with Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour this Sunday evening from 6.00 p.m. as we continue our series called “Love, Live, Fight” from the New Testament book of Ephesians.

The novel by Alexander Dumas entitled “The Three Musketeers” has been turned into numerous films and TV series and contains characters in that story who had as their motto “All for one and one for all”. As soldiers in the elite guard of the king of France, this motto meant that each member of that group of men would fight for the group or any of the others. In other words, they were vowing to stand together in their common fight.

The passage of Scripture we are about to transition into, the Apostle Paul is trying to get the Ephesian church to adopt this motto effectively. The phrase could also be adopted by us today: “All for one and one for all!”

Simply stated, the Lord expects us, as a church family, to walk together in unity for His glory. These verses in Ephesians 4:1-7 tell us that unity is not just a possibility, it is a divine requirement if we are to be everything God wants us to be as a church.

See you on Sunday the 10th of June from 6 p.m. for worship and study in God’s word as we dig into Eph 4:1-7 and consider this important message and continue this series.
