 From the Pastor’s desk

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Living in a sinful world can at times just grind us down. Remember in Pilgrims Progress written by John Bunyan how Christian carried that load of sin, a heavy weight constantly on his back. There are times in all our lives that we just get weary. It can be weary from well doing or we can get weary from carrying heavy loads of sin on our backs. Things we have said done or thought that we have not given over to the Lord. We too can be laid down living for Christ in an ungodly world. What should we do when this happens? We are to remember Jesus promise to each us – Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.If that’s you today just spend some time resting in God’s presence and He will take your load and He will give you blessed rest and peace – its beautiful!

 Church Etiquette

We ask that once the service has commenced that should you need to leave the sanctuary that you are mindful to not be a distraction to those worshipping and listening to God’s Word. If you are returning the ushers will direct you to seating at the back of the sanctuary – thank you for your consideration.

Please assist our ushers again this Sunday as they encourage you to fill the front seats first to ensure the seating in the chapel is evenly spread – thank you.
