This last Wednesday evening at our church prayer meeting, God was encouraging us as a church to pray for those things we deem impossible. To elevate our prayers beyond our normal ceiling of requests. Too often we settle for second best, we settle for things to just continue on as normal instead of seeking to bring these matters before God. Last Sunday evening as Ps Israel was teaching he covered the verse—Ephesians 3: 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,…I encourage you this week to bring the impossible situation that you are facing to God in prayer. This is what God desires of us! For us to seek Him and to trust Him to do that which is impossible and miraculous. This is what He does! Remember the first line in the Bible…In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..If God was able to do that He can surely answer your “impossible” prayer.

Helen’s Heart I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.wait patiently for the Lord Psalm 27:13 -14 NLT Sometimes we can lose heart with our prayer life. Have there been some requests you’ve made to God that seem to echo in the silence? Keep on seeking, ask God to give you a vision of His plans for you. We have Sarah, Rachel, Hanna, Elizabeth, and Anna all as examples who waited patiently (a long time) for their answers to prayer. Do not lose heart; God will answer your prayers if you wait. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for.Heb 11:

Helping Our Ushers Our ushers are serving to help you enjoy the service each Sunday with minimal distractions. We ask that you assist them in their ministry by ensuring that all seats in the front section of the sanctuary are filled before taking up seating in the back rows. These back rows are reserved for families with smaller children only. In addition, once the service has commenced we ask that you help us to have minimal movement in the sanctuary during the worship and especially during the teaching of God’s Word. Should you have to leave your seat to attend your child in crèche, please assist us by returning to a seat at the rear of the sanctuary so as not to be a distraction—thank you. Grace Giving Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour has a tithe and offering container at the left side of the sanctuary as you enter for your grace giving for the work of the Lord here. – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically.
