From the Pastor’s Desk
Are you someone that people like to stand next to during the worship of our Lord? You are not a distraction to them, but you are an encouragement to them to praise and honour the Lord during our time of corporate worship. Or are you someone to avoid at that time, someone who talks through the whole worship time, fidgets with something or just give off the vibes that you are not into what’s happening right now? Worship is such an important part of our Christian walk. It reflects our hearts so clearly and it is surely one of the most blessed times each time we come before the Lord. When I stand next to Helen I realize each time what a privilege it is at that moment for us to be together before our Lord in worship! I pray that you be an encouragement to others to worship our Lord with a heart of sincerity and thanksgiving.
CCSH has a tithe and offering container at the left side of the sanctuary as you enter for your grace giving for the work of the Lord here. – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically.
Church Etiquette – We ask that once the service has commenced that should you need to leave the sanctuary that you are mindful to not be a distraction to those worshipping and listening to God’s Word. If you are returning the ushers will direct you to seating at the back of the sanctuary – thank you for your consideration.
Our new website is up and running – make sure you check it out as we begin to build it each week to provide more information about what’s happening here at Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour
Pastor Casey Kendall from the Bridgetown Church Pasadena, California U.S.A., will be our guest speaker next Sunday.
